     I am watching perseverance in action as I write. A squirrel has figured out how to navigate around the baffle I installed last night to the bird feeder. It took about thirty minutes and countless attempts. But the rodent finally scored it prize. Squirrel 1: Me 0.

     I received an unwelcomed visitor the other day. A June Bug chose to make company on my nose. The insect’s decision proved to be unwise, as I unceremoniously swatted it to the ground.

Daily Devotional July 1, 2022

“For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall

       Seven years ago, my family and I traveled to Burlington, Vermont. During the visit I was
introduced to the concept of a “Witch Window.” A witch window is turned sideways and placed at
a forty-five degree angle in a farmhouse’s gable-end wall.
