Congratulations go out to Elliot Tanner, the youngest member to graduate from The University of Minnesota. Elliot earned a Bachelor of Science Degree last April in Physics at the age of thirteen. Some have compared Elliot to Sheldon Cooper, the quirky character featured in the situation comedy, Young Sheldon.

A Cape Cod lobster diver has a big fish tale of the one that got away. Michael Packard was retrieving lobster traps from the sandy bottom off of Herring Beach when he claimed, “All of a sudden, I felt this huge shove and the next thing I knew it was completely black.”

I am watching perseverance in action as I write. A squirrel has figured out how to navigate around the baffle I installed last night to the bird feeder. It took about thirty minutes and countless attempts. But the rodent finally scored it prize. Squirrel 1: Me 0.

I received an unwelcomed visitor the other day. A June Bug chose to make company on my nose. The insect’s decision proved to be unwise, as I unceremoniously swatted it to the ground.
