Girmay Gebremariam is passionate about hard work and eager to keep St. Paul clean and secure.

 

Along with his wife and six children, he immigrated to the United States from Ethiopia in 2018 with help from the United States Department of State, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and Catholic Services.

 

In Ethiopia, Girmay managed a small herd of dairy cows, and worked in local fruit orchards.  He is eager to improve his English language skills and provide for his family.
